Goodbye week 3 and Hello week 4!

Thanks to all the teams for making week 3 at Dayspring awesome! Dayspring staff is so thankful for all of your hard work this past week! We would like to share just a few of the things each team accomplished this week.

Center Grove Presbyterian Church from Edwardsville, Illinois

This team served several homeowners in Grant Town, WV this week by:

• Repaired/ rebuilt a bathroom and kitchen floor
• Built a wheelchair ramp from porch to the street
• Repaired windows,
• Built a new closet with doors
• Built new front porch steps
• Installed a new toilet and tub
• Hosted a VBS and math/ language arts camp for children in Grant Town

City Church from Philadelphia, PA

This team served in Fairmont, WV by:

• Painted the entire exterior of a home
• Light repairs around the home

First Presbyterian Church from Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia

This team served in Fairmont, WV by:

• Paint/ stain the exterior of a home
• Replaced damaged trim boards
• Repaired window screens

Cornerstone Presbyterian Church from Center Valley, Pennsylvania

This team served in Fairmont, WV this week by:

• Repairing a small roof on front of home
• Scraped, primed, and painted the front porch of a home
• Repaired leak in bathroom
• Repaired and painted living room ceiling

Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Davidsonville, Maryland

This group served in Fairmont, WV on several homes this week by:

• Installing panels and light fixtures in a drop ceiling
• Installing a cover for the kitchen light
• Painting a hallway
• Installing a door on a closet
• Installed new locks on doors
• Repaired drop ceiling
• Put up sheet rock in a small bedroom
• Worked on a tub
• Repaired a shelf in a closet
• Replaced a roof on the small “snow cone” building
